Happy June! Yesterday hubby and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary! By celebrating, I mean we stayed home all day and watched tv... We're just that couple. Both Evie and I have the crud, so it's probably best that we stayed in.
I have 7 more days in the office before I take a month and a half off. When I return in August, I'm going to sign Evie up for a 2 day a week program at a local church. I think she could really benefit from time with kids her age, and I could be a lot more productive in the office on those days.
This month we are going to a reunion, visiting with relatives from Colorado, visiting our friends in Austin, and perhaps making a trip to the beach. Stephen is headed on a golf trip this Wednesday. He'll be golfing in NC until Saturday. I'm hoping to think of some fun activities for Evie and I to do while he is gone.
I've added some pictures from this weekend to this post. I put Evie's hair in braid for the weekend. I think they're cute, but she always ends up pulling out the bands, so they don't last as long as I'd like. On Saturday we went swimming at my parent's house. The last picture is a picture of my parent's dog Tucker and their current foster dog, Mickey. My parent's are great foster parents for the Dachshund Rescue of Houston.
