Apologies for the gross lack of updates I have been posting. When I quit the Facebook, I made a commitment to using this blog to share our adventures, but I'm dropping the ball. I'm going to blame it on a very busy, teething toddler. That's really no excuse though.
We spent this past weekend at the lake. It was Evie's first time to go out on the boat. Papa was LOVING it! She also got to spend a lot of time with her cousins, Hayden and Henley.
Evie has entered the stage where she wants to climb onto everything. Toys, furniture, people, etc... are all obstacles that welcomes. She's also cutting teeth left and right. So far she has four teeth on bottom and four teeth on top. I can see two teeth on top and two teeth on bottom through the gums as well. After she cuts those four, she'll have four more to cut until closer to her second birthday.
Stephen and I are doing well. We've got a busy month ahead of us, but we're looking forward to spending a lot of time outside with friends and family. Stephen has his 5 year anniversary with his company this week. Our 6 year anniversary is in a week, as well. We began dating in 2003, so it's been 10 years together. We've finally been married longer than we were dating!
