Tomorrow we celebrate our 5 Year Anniversary. If I could go back in time and tell myself what I know now about my husband and our marriage, 2007 Me wouldn't believe 2012 Me. I had no idea that we'd be tested in so many ways. I didn't realize how dependent I'd be on my husband to make it through so many days. I know in comparison with our parents and grandparents 5 years is nothing, but our 5 years saw more growth and love than a lot of couples fit into 20 years. While there were a lot of really dark times, I appreciate how they strengthened us as a couple. Oh 2007 Me, you were so blissfully naive. Every marriage will ride waves of struggle and joy, and I'm glad I get to take the ride with Stephen.
