We received our Adoption Approval Certificate in the mail on Friday, July 9. Our caseworker is out of the office this week, but when she returns we will get our profile and online profiles set up. We’ll also get an email address through the agency and set up a toll free telephone number to our house. We are excited to start getting our information out there to potential birth-mommies!
I spent the past weekend in Marble Falls and Austin while Stephen stayed behind to spend time with his groomsmen and college buddies. My best friend’s son turned one, and the party was in Austin on Saturday. After the celebration, I hopped in the car with Asha (a dear friend from college) and headed back to the lake. I hadn’t seen Asha in YEARS, so it was AWESOME catching up with her. She is such a great person!
This is a busy week with work, but I am looking forward to a fun weekend with family and friends. Hopefully we’ll also find time to put up the chair rail and set up the crib. If only there were more hours in Saturdays and Sundays!
