My preference for photos has been and will always be natural light, outdoors. That being said, last month we joined Stephen's family for a studio shoot. Here a few photos of our little trio of trouble. Evie is a really photogenic kid. I may (REALLY) be biased though...
Since this shoot, Evie has grown several new teeth. She's working on her bottom molars right now. They are a real pain in the butt. She will just let you rub over the gums where they are breaking through without protest. As of right now she has the teeth below that are highlighted in orange.
Evie has also picked up a new two-word phrase. She'll say "Hi Baby" which is what I have said to her nearly every morning since she came home. She's trying out new sounds every day. Her current words are Hi, Daddy, Momma, Papa, Nana, Bye-Bye, and Oof (dog sound). I feel like she's right on the verge of having a lot more words. We unintentionally taught her to sign "all done" so she'll use that for a variety of situations when she's had enough. She's walking, running, spinning, and climbing from sun-up to sun-down. She LOVES playing in water. She has no fear of anything that we can tell. She's goofy. She laughs and smiles all the time. She loves bigger kids. She got moved to the bigger kid class at church because she was too bored with the babies. She loved the new class! They had a bubble machine, so she's a fan for life.
This is my last week at work before I take a month and a half off to spend time with Evie traveling the state of Texas. Here's hoping she sleeps well away from home and stays healthy! This next weekend we are headed to Shiner for a Family Reunion day trip.

Your family is beautiful. I was adopted at 3 months old (I am now 29) and was raised by a wonderful family. All you need is love!
