At the Horseshoe Bay Marriott pool with our Colorado family.

My aunt and her family were in Horseshoe Bay with us for several days. They live in Colorado Springs, so we don't get to see them that often. It was great to catch up with the cousins and have some fun out on the lake. We rented a wave runner on Saturday, which I fell off of 4 times. I managed to get my fat butt back on it each time. Thank you, Jesus. I was incredibly sore yesterday from it, but it was well worth it. We had originally planned to go on to Austin for a few days, but that trip is going to be rescheduled. We got home yesterday evening. Boy did I miss our house! Evie gets so stimulated in large group settings, that it's harder to get her calmed down and to sleep. It's normally not an issue at home or in quieter places. Last night we laid her down in her crib, and I could just tell she was happy to be back in her place.

 

This week we don't have anything on the schedule except to make some trips to the gym, prepare for a garage sale this weekend, and organize some massive piles I've been building around the house. I'd love to get a date night in with the hubby, but we'll see.
