We're less than one week away from Evie's first cruise, and our first cruise in over a year. I'm equal parts excited and terrified. My fear stems from being away from our routine, forgetting something essential, contracting sickness, and the other normal bajillion concerns you have when you become a parent. I am excited to see Evie's face the first time we stick her toes in the sand and experience new sounds, sights, tastes, etc... It's a lot to think about.
Evie spent this past weekend with my parents. It was the first time that I have been away from her for so long. I miss her terribly, but I've been battling a sinus infection so it was a blessing being able to lay low for a few days. She should be back in less than 2 hours. Can't wait to squeeze her!
She's still not walking. I keep thinking any day now she'll take off, but no. She still only has 4 teeth. I keep thinking any day now she'll have more, but no. We seem to have stalled for the past couple of months.
