Just kidding, but you'd never know it based on the reactions to the election yesterday. I never vote for the winner of the Presidential election, but I am okay with that. To be honest with you, I find all politicians to be weasels that are utterly incapable of relating to the masses.
To try to block out the hysteria I thought I'd share some happiness with you!
Evie cut her second tooth! She woke up from her nap yesterday and tooth #2 had made its' way completely through her gums. She is also saying, "Dada", "Papa", "Mama", and "Nana". I'm not sure she understands why we get all excited when she says them. She also claps her hands and does "whacky" (shakes her head left to right). She takes four, 6oz bottles a day. She goes to bed between 7:45-8pm and wakes up between 7:45-8am. She takes a short nap in the morning at the office and a long nap in the afternoon at home. She enjoys playing with the Fisher Price Apps on the iPad and anything stackable. She loves her walker! She has mastered going backwards, but she is still working on going forward. She's a crawling fool. She hauls booty to get wherever she wants in a jiffy.
This weekend we are headed to the lake to do some family photos. I'm excited to have some formal portraits of our crew. It's lovely to get up there this time of year. It's so crisp and lovely! Following that trip we are in town until Christmas. We're spending Thanksgiving with Stephen's side of the family here in town.
Well, I hope you were momentarily distracted by the complete lack of civility that exists the day after a Presidential election. I look at Evie, and nothing else matters.
