Knock On Wood

It seems that now that we have Little E, we use the phrase "Knock on wood!" a lot. We have used it most recently to mark the longer stretches of sleep, her love of her vegetables, and her generally happy disposition. We are often afraid to speak the words out loud, for a fear that we may jinx her.

Recent Milestones and Misc.
  • Rolls both ways
  • Spins in circles, but making no effort to crawl yet
  • Can officially see the whites of the front two bottom teeth, FINALLY
  • Wears mostly size 6mo clothes, but needs 9mo bottoms (Big Booty Judy)
  • Pulling off her hair accessories, will begin using bands to make puffs soon
  • So far she has eaten green beans (two thumbs down), sweet potatoes (one thumb up), and peas (two enthusiastic thumbs up)
  • Continues to like rice cereal
  • Taking 5 bottles a day, for a total of anywhere from 30-36 ounces of formula a day
  • Takes two naps a day, both for about 1.5-3 hours
  • Wears a size 2 shoe, really...
  • Attempts to get literally everything in her mouth
  • Drools enough to leave standing water everywhere she goes
  • Babies-R-Us diapers get an F at containing dirty diapers, *shtuff* goes errrrverywhere
  • We probably go through 8-10 diapers a day
  • Spitting up more, which I'm guessing has something to do with the buckets of drool she is producing
  • Belly laughing, chuckling, gurgling, and doing her maniac giggle
  • Using level 3 nipples on her Dr. Brown bottles
