Some of the most FAQ's

1. Where did you get her?

She is a native Texan.

2. What do you know about her Mom?

This one really ticks me off. First of all, I am her Mom. Second of all, if you're referring to her BM, it's really none of your business.

3. Will you adopt again?

I do not know. Our road to Evie was pretty rough. We're also afraid that if we did another infant adoption, the next baby would never sleep! Evie is such a good sleeper that we're afraid to push our luck.

4. What do you do with her hair?

Evie gets two baths per week using Shea Moisture Baby Soap. Evie gets her hair shampooed once a week. During the other bath we do what is referred to as co-washing using California Baby Conditioner. That means we use conditioner only. Every night Evie's hair is moisturized using Shea Moisture Baby Lotion. We then comb it out using a Tangle Teaser. Every morning Evie's hair is first sprayed with California Baby Detangler then moisturized using Shea Moisture Baby Lotion. We then either use the Tangle Teaser or just run our fingers through her curls.

5. What do you use on her skin?

We currently use CeraVe Moisturizing Cream on her skin twice a day. I am considering switching her over to raw whipped Coconut/Shea Butter soon though.

6. How does she sleep?

Evie either wakes up once around 3 or 4am or she sleeps til 6 or 7am. Yes, we know how lucky we are!

7. How often does she eat?

She take a 6-7oz bottle every 4-5 hours during the day. She gets cereal around 8pm and a top off bottle at bedtime that is about 3-4oz.

8. What time does she go to bed?

We put Evie down when we get ready to go to bed ourselves, that is if she hasn't already fallen asleep. She is usually down for the night around 10-10:30pm.

9. How is she in the car seat?

She is a CHAMP in the car seat. She'll usually play with her favorite toy, Freddie the Firefly, or she will just fall asleep. If she's wide awake, she prefers someone to sit back there and talk with her.

10. Is she always this content?

Yup. We hit the jackpot with Evie! I'm not sure if her disposition is a result of genetics or the environment in which she is being raised. I'd like to take all the credit, but if you know me, you that her easy-going nature did not come from me.
