Our pediatrician was very pleased with her growth and development. She is a 36.2 week preemie, but she has now caught up with the term babies.

Evie did great for the vaccinations. The same could not be said for me though. I completely fell apart and could not stop crying. Just knowing someone was intentionally sticking a needle in her precious chunky thighs got to me. That being said, we will go by the recommended vaccination schedule. I do not have any reservations about the schedule that our pediatrician follows, I just need to toughen up. Evie didn't cry out much, and she has been perfectly content today. She's snoozed a bit more, but our pediatrician warned us that would happen.
Glad to have those first shots under our belts.
If you do the flu shot at her 6-month, her 9-month appointment should be vaccination-free if that helps! ;) Ada wailed while trying to nurse during her 2-month ones but got over the initial shock much faster every time since. I usually had a bottle ready just in case she was inconsolable. Milk apparently heals all wounds. ;) Glad it's over!!
