NASCAR, November '11

 Packing up Dad's truck!
How much can you cram in one truck?
 Packing up the TrailBlazer
Getting ready to back out of the driveway.
Our newest neighbors at the track!  He works for Starbucks.  That makes him a celebrity in my eyes.
Dad fixing up a traditional camp stove breakfast.
Our home away from home at the track.
 Yay!  Texas Motor Speedway
Getting my white trash hoodlum on with my cousin.
We actually got to see Kyle drive all three rides; Truck, NNS, and Sprint.  We just didn't get to see him race all three.
This is how close we were standing to the cars when they practiced.  Here's Danica.
On the way to Texas Motor Speedway, my TrailBlazer hit a dog.  The dog didn't win.  Neither did my bumper.
Dad working on getting it repaired enough to get it home.  I have a guy coming over to give me an estimate on repairs.  Pray for an affordable quote!
 Sprint and Nationwide Qualifying
It was FREEZING in the stands on Friday and Saturday.  By Sunday we were in short sleeved shirts.  We got to experience all four of the seasons over the course of 5 days!
Getting ready to pack up and head home.
Following Dad through the awful traffic.
Maxi was so happy I was home.

Weekend Highlights:
- Surviving the collision with Fido
- Shufflin' in the car on the way to the track
- Getting to wear actual winter clothes
- Seeing the drivers and cars up close
- The Races.  All of them.
- Seeing a man take off and wave his prosthetic leg to cheer on his favorite driver... Earnhardt, of course.
- Seeing that same man drink a beer out of his prosthetic leg.
