This verse is currently the verse of my life. Over the past week, I have come to the conclusion that Stephen and I have made plans to attempt to move onto the next chapter of our lives. We've made the plans, and now we let the Lord direct our steps. If it is His plan for us to have children and a family, that would be a dream fulfilled for us. If He has another plan for us, I just ask that He closes the door on anything that would steer us away from that plan. Talk about liberating!
I cannot wait to get out on the boat with my new hot pink fishing pole! It was an Easter gift from Emily, and I love it. This will be the first time I've been out on the lake in a long time. It's going to be beautiful.
If you are not watching The Voice on NBC, you need to be! I am in LOVE with it! The whole idea is so honest, and I adore it. Contestants are judged only on their ability to sing. No looks, bedazzled costumes, or special effects. I find it so refreshing! I don't know if the remainder of the season will be as great as the blind auditions, but if it is - I'm a fan for life.
