HURRAY!

Woohoo! We have completed our home study and Stephen’s FBI Clearance is headed to our caseworker! At this point we wait for approval, make the necessary changes to our portfolio, then wait for a birthmother to select us. The average wait time for our adoption program is 6-12 months from approval. We could wait less, we could wait longer. Either way around, we are so excited to be done jumping through hoops!

To celebrate the completion of the hoop jumping, we went to dinner last night at The Melting Pot with Mom, Dad and Emily. It was a wonderful and memorable meal! If you haven’t had the fondue experience, I highly recommend it. My favorite part = dessert! They set down a pot of melted chocolate with a platter full of things to dip into the chocolate (fruit, pound cake, marshmallows, cheesecake, graham crackers, brownies and more.) YUM! YUM!

- repair section of fence
- organize kitchen
- make a decision on microwave (keeps shutting off when we try to use it! They are expensive, but so are the repairs!)
- clean the garage…all I can say is eww
