Bubble Wrap and Beat Boxing

The packing begins.

We've only lived in this one house. How we have managed to accumulate so much stuff is beyond me. Thankfully there are a lot of honest charity organizations in our area that are glad to accept a lot of the items we have no desire to take with us into the next house. But still. So. Much. Stuff. We've got a long way to go. We're getting a storage unit in a few weeks to offload some boxes so that the house is less cluttered for showing. We also have a to-do list of home improvements to make before we list too.
  • Trim trees
  • New tile in entry, around fireplace, and in bathrooms
  • Paint guest room and master bathroom
  • Stain kitchen cabinets
I have reservations about putting down a tile that the new owners might not like, but the current tile is laid on linoleum floors and is cracking. The previous owners were too lazy to remove wallpaper or linoleum so they just went over it. Thanks a lot losers.

Evie is doing great. She's really starting to listen and understand. She's following simple directions without needing me to do it for her. She's picking up new words and sounds. She also started beat-boxing. Thanks for that Yo Gabba Gabba. She's loving W-F school and Sunday School. She actually gets super excited when we pull into the parking lot at W-F school.

Stephen started his new job this week. So far, so good. His new hours are putting him home earlier which I LOVE. He's able to spend more time with us before it's time to say goodnight. I know he misses his former co-workers a lot. He's going to meet several of them for lunch today.

That's about all of the attention span I can give the blog today. Have a nice weekend!
