Our NY trip was a lot of fun. We didn't have a plan or schedule when we got there. That in itself was liberating. The weather was gorgeous, and we were really relaxed. While we were there we took in Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Rochester, Geneva, and Watkins Glen. My folks kept Evie. From what they tell me, they all had a blast.
On the NY trip I read two books. Here's a brief review from a self-proclaimed book enthusiast, me.
This one was interesting. It is the story of a quadriplegic and his new caretaker. It was slow to start, but the pace was good after that. It was a story I hadn't read before. That was refreshing. Sometimes I feel like I read a book that's the same story has a bunch of others.
I liked this one a lot. It made me laugh. It made me cry. It made me happy and mad. The story of two kids with severe illnesses who form a bond. They travel to Amsterdam to meet the author of a book they enjoy. You won't regret this one.
And I leave you with some Mom humor...
