Around 5am this morning we heard Evie giggling, talking, and making her funny sounds on the monitor. This is totally out of character for her. She usually goes down a little after 8pm and then sleeps til 7:30-7:45am. I debated... do I go in there and try to get her back to sleep or let her entertain herself (she wasn't crying at all)? Mom once told me, if she's not upset, let her be. So I decided to just let it go. She did this until a little after 6am then went back to sleep. I woke up this morning, and I now have some idea why this all went down.

If you do not latch Evie's door all the way, Max knows he can push the door and it will open. So my guess is Max went in this morning and was either:

1. Booping her on the head. He enjoys this. She enjoys this.

2. There is incriminating evidence all over the house that Max unloaded the Q-Tip bowl out of the guest bathroom. There were even some in Evie's room. Perhaps he was showing Evie how he throws them up in the air.

3. Max was doing his creepy lurker thing to her from the chair in her room.

Regardless, tonight hubby will be verifying that the door is latched. As cute as it is listening to her be happy in her room, Momma wasn't ready to be up before the sun.
