Normally when I am 16 days away from a cruise I am planning my packing list, getting eager to bask in the sun, and debating which books to bring with me. Sadly, I just can't get myself excited about this upcoming trip. 16 days seems like a lifetime away these days. Maybe if I pull out my swimsuit it'll set in that the trip is getting close. Somehow I think the fact that this is cruise 30-something also makes it about as routine as a trip to the lake house.
