a) Radar hates squirrels and possums. He'll bark frantically at them. The possums will play dead on the fence when Radar barks at them. Stephen gets a stick and knocks the possum into the neighbor's yard.
b) Max likes to knock all the folded laundry off the couch. I'm confused by this recent development... and quite tired of refolding the laundry.
c) I need to go grocery shopping, but I'm beginning to develop a phobia of grocery stores. The last few times I've gone, I've nearly been ran over by carts on almost every aisle. Either I'm invisible or I have a bulls eye on my bottom.
d) I'm stoked about the upcoming NASCAR races, but I really wish my husband would join us. He's not as in to racing as we are, but I'd still really like his company. I don't like being away from him. Sappy much?
e) A friend, who works for our congressman in DC, arranged us some pretty sweet tours when we go up there in a few weeks. I'm really excited to get a private insider's look at some of the hot spots. Stephen's never been to DC, and I haven't been since I was around 10 years old.
f) Our church peeps were very gracious about us stepping down from teaching Sunday School. I really hope that when things slow down for us we can rejoin them. I'm going to miss the sweet little faces we spent our Sunday morning's with!
g) I cannot believe that Christmas is less than 2 months away! I'm sure it's going to sneak up and bite me in the bum, but hopefully it won't be a mad dash to get presents purchased and decorations put up. Since we're going to CO for Christmas, I need to find presents that are easy to pack or ship.
h) I hope to have a pajama day sometime soon. Not looking likely though...
Prayer Requests:
*Stephen's grandparents: Grandma's health and Grandpa's birthday
*Animals in the shelter that are up for adoption to find happy, permanent homes
*Actors in the upcoming play to memorize their lines and feel confident in their roles
