A Nice Laugh

I typed up some directions and information for future house/pet sitter's.  As I was doing it, I really was laughing at our circus of a life.  Thought I'd share.

Radar: Must stay in his cage if you are gone or if you are sleeping

Likes:

·         Being pet and scratched

·         Leaning against pillows, people, or armrests

·         Panting… like all the time

·         Eating

·         Sleeping on his back

·         His cage

·         Stealing bones from Bella

·         Music by the Rolling Stones… no, seriously

·         Praise

Dislikes:

·         Max: no aggression, but not a fan

·         Yelling

·         Being told, “No”

·         Laundry

·         Plastic Bags

·         Raising of hands above shoulder level

·         Pointing at him

·         This list could go on forever… he’s an odd bird…

Bella: Must go outside for at least 10-15 minutes before but can be left inside for 4-6 hours unattended if doors to blue guest room and master bathroom are closed, can sleep with you or wherever.  If she is driving you nuts, pick her up and shove her in her cage.  If she has an accident, which is unlikely but not impossible, you have permission to swat her butt.

Likes:

·         Max’s Food (try to intercept her if she goes for it!)

·         Her blue dolphin toy, called her baby

·         Sleeping

·         Cuddling

·         Licking (OBSESSIVE LICKER)

·         Choking after she drinks water

Dislikes:

·         Her cage

·         Going outside when she’s still tired (make her!)

·         Staying outside long enough to do her business (make her for stay out for at least 10-15 minutes)

·         Showing attention to anything else but her, she’s a diva

·         Max jumping on her when she’s tired (we allow it J )

Max: Has free reign.  Good chance he’ll end up in bed with you.

Likes:

·         Being loved on

·         Sleeping

·         Bella

·         Sitting in the window

·         Kitty treats

·         Food

·         The blue guest room

Dislikes:

·         He’s a cat.

Feeding: All animals eat morning and night.

Radar gets 1 cup, 2 times a day:  He is fed outside.  I literally just throw his food on the concrete patio.  If you put it in a bowl, he scarfs it down too fast.  If you throw it out there it forces him to slow down to eat the kibbles.  Probably not very kind, but it keeps him from choking on his food.

Bella gets ½ cup, 2 times a day:  She is fed in the kitchen.  I put her food in the bowl of the blue feeder.  If you put it down and she hasn’t touched it in 10 minutes, pick it up.  Max should not eat dog food.  You can offer her what remains plus her night time meal all together.  Sometimes she ends up eating a whole cup for dinner because she didn’t eat her breakfast.

Max gets ½ cup, 2 times a day:  Max is fed in the kitchen.  He eats out of the small glass bowl.  He is anxious to eat a few mouth fulls but then he is a lazy eater.  If he hasn’t touched it and Bella is going for it, pick it up.  Like Bella, you can offer him what remains plus his night time meal all together.

About TV, Internet, Phone:

TV:

·         Turns on by hitting the red tv power and power button on the small black remote.

·         ATT turns on by hitting ATT then center power button on the silver remote.

·         The silver remote is used to run the tv once the power is on.

·         Silver remote is pretty user friendly.

·         Fav channels: 1802 – 18?? HBOs, 1250 TLC, 1181 BRAVO, 1178 ABC FAM, 1502 MTV, 1112/1113 TBS, 1000-1013 LOCALS, 1124 USA

Internet:

·         Password for Wireless : __WILL WRITE THIS DOWN AT HOME__

Phone:

·         Will dial out as an unknown/blocked number

Generic Information:

·         You really have to put your shoulder into it to get in the front door.  Sorry about that.  Use the garage door opener and come through the door in there once you have the opener on you.

·         Our neighbors are awesome.  If you need anything they’re pretty much always around.  They are usually outside in the front yard with their boxers during the day.  Bella and Radar usually play with them, so they’ll start barking and running around because they want to join their friends.  Just tell them to be quiet and keep them inside.   They can play with their boxer friends when we return.

·         Don’t let Radar and Bella go insane in the backyard.  Call them in if they start talking smack with the rat terriers that live behind us to the left.  Radar also goes bonkers for squirrels.

·         You have to hold down the toilet handle in the guest bathroom sometimes.

·         Feel free to turn on the Scentsy warmers while you’re there, but remember to turn them off when you leave.

·         Help yourself to any food or beverages that you like.  However, the beer in the fridge has got to be like 2 years old… beware.
