After today I am halfway to getting light dairy back into my diet! Can't wait! I miss me some cheese! I also missed processed foods, even though I know they're not good for me.
Yesterday afternoon I attempted to go to Walmart to do our grocery shopping. I wanted to go get us enough food to get us through the weekend so we can avoid TAX-FREE Weekend. What a terrible error in judgement. I pulled into the parking lot and the person in front of me just stopped down the main lane. After a minute or two of sitting behind her, she woke up and crawled forward. I turned down the first parking aisle where a woman and a young man were walking in the exact middle of the parking aisle looking completely disoriented trying to locate their car. I eased up to them slowly, hoping that my engine sound would drawl attention to the fact that they were obstructing the aisle. It worked and I did the U-Turn to look for a parking spot facing the other direction. Now on another parking aisle ANOTHER woman and child are walking directly down the middle of the aisle. I use the same tactic from the previous aisle and continue down the aisle. The parking lot was basically full except for spots in outer Mongolia range. After passing these two lost fools 3 cars proceeded to nearly hit me before I made it down the aisle. By this point I am beyond frustrated and have already committed to leaving the grounds as soon as possible. If the parking lot is this bad, the store must be worse! I got to the end of this aisle and the main lane is now completely obstructed by cars staring at each other and cars sitting and waiting for their passengers to get through shopping. Grr! I manage to squeeze between the cones and exit the parking lot. I then got myself quickly to Super Target where I parked in the front spot at the grocery entrance. Amazing how different the experiences were! Target was clean, and not very crowded. While their selection wasn't stellar, I was able to get everything off my list except for whole grain pitas.

Hubby came home last night and said he had gotten tickets for the Texans-Saints game on Saturday. I am so excited! Cannot wait to hear the sounds of my favorite sport LIVE!
