Yeehaw Christmas

In typical Texas fashion, this Christmas season is proving to be just as Spring-Like as ever! Today the temps are reaching up into the 70s! Normally I'd be all bummed that it is so mild, but oddly enough I'm really liking the warmer temps. It's a good thing too, take a peak at the forecast for our area:

Our family is very proud to announce the arrival of the first Great Grandbaby on my Dad's side! His name is Blake and he is totally perfect! We are all so enjoying loving on him! We went over to their house last night to bring dinner and get some quality cuddle time with the little man. Babies are such a beautiful blessing. I hope we can get Blake a cousin really soon! The adoption wait continues. We are praying about it all the time. We put our faith in God and ask our Dear Lord to move in the heart of a birthmother to choose us as a forever family for her baby. In the mean time we need to work on a few things in the nursery-to-be. We need to put outlet covers on all the outlets, touch up the paint, set up the dresser, clean out the closet, put up some wall shelves, and purchase an additional white bookshelf.

Christmas will be held at our house this year. I'm really looking forward to having everyone over to celebrate the season and the love of family! I sent out this invitation to our family. I think it is quite fitting! Merry Christmas to you all! Only 8 more days until we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior!
