Don't ask, we'll tell!

Chair Rail - was put up on Sunday with the help of the Lauchners. It looks wonderful!~

Crib - hoping that this gets set up soon. This is the fabric that will be used for the bedding.~

Baby Showers – I have been to two baby showers in Sugar Land in the past two weeks. One of my friends is having a little boy any day now, and my other friend is having a baby girl in November. I am so happy for them both! Not a bad drive to Sugar Land, but happy I’m not going to be making it this weekend.

Mollie - My brother and sister-in-law are expecting! They are due in March. The Whistler’s are all very excited!~

Lakefest – We are going to the lake this weekend to watch the drag boat races with my family and Jen and BJ. I am thrilled they are joining us for one of the most entertaining events I have ever attended!

Cassie - My old college roommate has relocated to Bryan - College Station to work for Texas DPS. I am so glad that she is closer to Houston and working a job that sounds perfect for her!

Adoption - I’ll probably not have an adoption update for quite a while now. It could be 6-8 months before any birthmother even looks at our portfolio. Our online profile will go up in a couple of weeks. When it goes up, I’ll let the blog world know. We’d appreciate it if those of you who know us, will refrain from asking us if we have heard anything or had any nibbles. The intentions are wonderful, but it gets depressing telling people, “We don’t know. We wait.” It could be more than a year before we know anything. We promise to tell you when we know something!
