I donated blood for the first time at church yesterday. I had such a wonderful experience, that I made the committment to donate blood quarterly. I'm O+ (universal donor) and have the capability to help patients in emergency situations when there is no time to find out their blood types! What an awesome way to help!

Good for you! I used to donate blood & platelets all the time in Lubbock, but haven't in awhile. Bill and I are O's too - I'm neg and he's positive. Perhaps related to our personalities... :)
ReplyDeleteI'm O positive too. I give blood at work all the time because I have super high hemoglobin and my blood is nice and rich they say. They say I should give my platelets but I need to look into that. Way to go Shell Bell and let me know when yall are coming up here :)
